Mosasa Moses, a 39-year-old businessman from Mocha, East Bank Demerara, found himself facing charges of possession of narcotics for trafficking. A rank from the Golden Grove Police Station officially charged Moses on Thursday following the recent arrest.

At the time of his arrest in Mocha, Moses was found in possession of 27 grams of marijuana. The defendant appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman at the Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court on the same day, where the charge was formally presented.

During the court proceedings, Moses pleaded not guilty to the charge. The magistrate granted him bail in the sum of $40,000. The case has been adjourned until January 23, 2024, and the legal process will continue as Moses addresses the charges brought against him.
