The Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit conducted a targeted operation in Norton Street, Wortmanville, on January 13, 2024, resulting in the arrest of an individual and the seizure of various types of ammunition.
During the operation, CANU Officers performed a thorough search on a male suspect, leading to the discovery of a significant quantity of ammunition. The arrested individual, identified as Ron Fletchman, 46 years of Melanie Damishana, E.C.D., was promptly taken into custody and escorted to CANU’s Headquarters along with the seized ammunition.
The recovered ammunition includes:
Eleven 9mm rounds
One .223 round
A total of twelve rounds were confiscated during the operation.
