The Guyana Police Force urgently seeks the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who was allegedly murdered at Bootway Backdam, North West District (NWD), Region One, on January 3, 2024. The victim is known only by the names ‘Terrible’ and ‘Alex,’ and no other details or particulars are available at this time.

The victim, a male of mixed-race ethnicity, was found lying motionless on his back on the muddy surface of a road in Bootway Backdam. The preliminary examination revealed a stab wound to the left side of his chest, with blood oozing from the same. The victim was clad only in blue short pants and green boxers.

The scene was promptly photographed, and the victim was transported to the Pakera District Hospital at Matthew’s Ridge, NWD. A doctor on duty examined him and pronounced him deceased. The body is currently in storage at the Port Kaituma Hospital’s Mortuary, awaiting identification and a post-mortem examination.
