A Father’s Fight: Subha Raut Raising Funds for His Cancer Treatment

Subha Raut : In this journey called life, we often encounter unexpected challenges that test our resilience and strength. Today, I want to share a deeply personal story with all of you. My name is Subha Raut, and I am an international graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of Oklahoma. However, my life has taken a detour as my beloved father, the rock of our family, has recently been diagnosed with Carcinoma of the Gallbladder with Liver Metastasis. Our world has been turned upside down by this devastating news, and now we are fighting not only for his life but also for hope and a brighter future for our family.

The Shattering Diagnosis:

Just a few months ago, our lives were filled with laughter, love, and dreams for the future. We were a close-knit family, cherishing every moment we spent together. However, everything changed when my father received the heartbreaking diagnosis. It felt as if our world shattered into a million pieces, leaving us grappling with the immense burden of uncertainty and fear. Suddenly, our focus shifted from everyday dreams to fighting for his survival.

The Financial Struggle:

While battling cancer is already an enormous challenge, our family is also facing a significant financial hardship. We belong to a middle-class background, and we have already drained our savings and borrowed as much as we could to cover the initial medical expenses, which have already surpassed €9127.00. Despite our best efforts, the mounting cost of my father’s treatment remains beyond our reach.

The Urgency of Treatment:

Subha Raut father’s condition requires immediate and aggressive treatment. The estimated cost of ongoing medical procedures, surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other essential treatments is approximately €91270.00. We are determined to fight alongside him, but the financial burden is overwhelming, leaving us feeling helpless and desperate. We refuse to let financial constraints hinder our pursuit of saving his life.
