I think the statistics show right the old town community has changed this wasn’t didn’t used to be a part of our daily or weekly experience Scott Kerman executive director of bland Shay House said news of these attacks is especially difficult for those they serve daily we know that being unhoused is in and of itself traumatizing so they are re-traumatized every day you wake up and you’re cold maybe you’re wet you’re not really sure what’s going to happen that day they have Community with one another they have connections with us our volunteers and our staff and our peers and they just want a peaceful meal and they just want to live their life without fear of being attacked now at this time we do not know the names of the victims.
