Tragic Double Fatality in Fyrish Accident

In a devastating incident on Monday night, two lives were lost in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a car at Fyrish village, Corentyne Berbice.
The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Javid Mohamed, known as ‘Bottle,’ and his friend, 32-year-old Harrienarine Chattergoon, known as ‘Gangu,’ who succumbed to his injuries early on Tuesday morning.
This heartbreaking event follows another tragic accident less than 24 hours earlier in the city. On Monday morning, Sarah Wilson, 51, and her husband Rawle McKenzie, 54, lost their lives after a car collided with McKenzie’s minibus in front of the Ruimveldt Police Station in Georgetown. Unfortunately, McKenzie passed away later on Monday while undergoing treatment.
The communities affected by these losses are mourning the untimely deaths of these individuals, and our thoughts are with the families and friends coping with the profound grief.
