Traffic Advisory Ceremonial Parade for Law Year 2024 Opening

In observance of the Ceremonial Parade for the opening of the Law Year 2024, a special event will be held at the Supreme Court of Judicature, Avenue of the Republic, Georgetown, on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024, starting at 08:30 hrs.

To facilitate the smooth execution of this event, the following traffic arrangements will be implemented from 07:30 hrs:

Avenue of the Republic, Eastern Carriageway, and Regent Street: No Entry South
Avenue of the Republic, Eastern Carriageway, and South Road: No Entry East
Avenue of the Republic, Eastern Carriageway, and Brickdam Public Road: No Entry East
Charlotte and King Streets: No Entry West
Sendall Place and Croal Street: No Entry West
Brickdam Public Road and Smyth Street: No Entry West
Hadfield Street and Manget Place: No Entry North
Road users are kindly advised to adhere strictly to traffic directions provided by Police officers engaged in traffic management at the aforementioned points. Additionally, all road users are urged to comply with traffic regulations and laws governing the use of the road during this period.
