As Gru runs, Minions tries to become a master of kung fu art to help him, and Gru finds that even bad people need a little help from their friends.

Chain belt doubled like a deadly disco-ball mace; Jean-Claude Van Damme as Jean Clawed, armed (literally) with a giant robot claw; Lucy Lawless as Nunchuck, her traditional nun habit hides her deadly nun-chucks; Dolph Lundgren as a Swedish roller-skate champion Svengeance, who kicks out his enemies with spin kicks from his spiked skate; and Danny Trejo as Stronghold, whose large iron hands are a threat to others and a burden to him.
The film also plays Russell Brand as Dr. Nefario, brilliant scientist, Michelle Yeoh as Master Chow, acupuncturist with crazy kung fu skills, and Oscar® winner Julie Andrews as Gru’s self-absorbed mother.
Directed by the original creators of the franchise, Minions: The Rise of Gru was produced by the founder and visionary of Illumination and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborators Janet Healy and Chris Renaud. The film is directed by franchise filmmaker Kyle Balda (Despicable Me 3, Minions), co-produced by Brad Ableson (The Simpsons) and Jonathan del Val (The Secret Life of Pets), and includes a iconic voice by Pierre Coffin as.
