Megan Warfield. A pregnant firefighter that helped others trapped in car before giving birth.

Megan Warfield was nine months pregnant when she was involved in a multi-car crash. Instead of focusing on herself, she turned her attention to saving others

The pregnant Maryland firefighter did not let labor stop her from helping a person trapped in a car. And less than 24 hours later, she gave birth to her third child.

Megan Warfield had just finished hosting a memorial golf tournament honoring her late father in early October when she was involved in a “significant” car crash, according to a Facebook post from the Bowleys Quarters Volunteer Fire Rescue and Marine. In the post, they highlighted Megan as a true public servant.

“Megan is a member of the BQVFD and a career firefighter in Baltimore County, MD. Megan has been serving in an administrative capacity for the past several months patiently waiting on the birth of her child.

Just a week or so shy of her due date, Megan had finished organizing and hosting her late father’s 2nd annual memorial golf tournament when she was involved in a significant motor vehicle collision.
