The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating the parents or guardians of a child who was found unaccompanied on the Mocha Access Road.
The child, pictured below, was observed walking alone while carrying a black haversack.Prompt action by public-spirited individuals ensured the child’s safety, as they collected him and brought him to the Providence Police Station. Subsequently, he was handed over to the Child Care & Protection Agency (CC&PA) for further care and assistance.
The GPF is urging anyone who may recognize the child or have information about his parents or guardians to come forward and contact the relevant authorities.
The cooperation of the public is vital in reuniting the child with his family and ensuring his well-being.Anyone with pertinent information is encouraged to reach out to the Guyana Police Force or the Child Care & Protection Agency to assist in this matter.
