On Saturday night, around 21:00 hrs, diligent police officers conducting mobile patrol duty in Section ‘C’ Golden Grove, East Coast of Demerara, encountered a group of individuals congregating near a culvert. Upon noticing the approaching police patrol vehicle, the individuals scattered in various directions, raising suspicion.

During the commotion, one of the individuals dropped a bulky plastic bag, prompting the police officers to investigate further. Upon inspection, the officers uncovered a significant discovery inside the bag – a .38 revolver, albeit without any rounds in the chamber.
