The Dover Police Department would like to celebrate the retirement of Corporal Leonard Nester.
In their Facebook post, they wished him well and gave details regarding Corporal Leonard Nester’s tenureship. Here is more information.
When did Corporal Leonard Nester Join the Dover Police Department?
Cpl. Nester began his career with Dover Police Department in 2003, attending the Delaware State Police Academy.
During his career, Cpl. Nester served on Patrol, Community Policing, and as a School Resource Officer, where he finished his career. He also served as a member of the Special Operations Response Team and the Mobile Field Force.
Cpl. Nester received several commendations including, but not limited to, the Meritorious Service Award, Military Service, Distinguished Unit, Perfect Attendance, Safe Driving, Service Achievement, Police Chief’s Award, and Life Saving.
