Continuing The Commitment To Fostering Strong Ties Between Law Enforcement And The Community, Deputy Commander Of Region #6, Superintendent Ravindra Stanley, Led A Comprehensive Outreach To No.65 Village In Berbice On Friday, January 5, 2024. The Visit Aimed To Address Concerns, Share The Police Plan Of Action, And Build Collaborative Efforts To Combat Crime In The Community.

O’donogue, Sergeant Tyndall, Sergeant Lynch, Corporal Moses, Corporal Christopher, W/constable Durant, And Representatives From The No.52-74 Ndc, Including Liaison Officer B. Williams, The Police Team Engaged In An Interactive Session With Residents. Superintendent Stanley And His Team Covered Various Topics, Including The Importance Of Obeying Law And Order, Reporting Matters To The Police, Dealing With Delinquent Youths, Fostering Partnerships With The Police, Being Vigilant As A Community, And The Role Of Elders In Guiding The Youth.
Residents Raised Concerns Such As School Dropouts, Noise Nuisances, Delinquent Youths Involved In Drug Activities, And Other Community-related Issues. In Response, The Visiting Team Assured Residents Of Prompt Involvement With The Educational System, Offering Free Computer Training, Sports Activities, And Skills Enhancement To Address School Dropouts. The Residents Expressed Gratitude For The Visit And Pledged Full Cooperation In Maintaining Peace In Their Community.
