  • by

A 33-year-old woman was found dead on Monday morning at her home in Sister’s Village, West Bank Demerara. Kesi Adele Adams, 33, was found by her mother, Bridgette Boston, 63.

Police reported that it is suspected that Adams was electrocuted when she touched a metal-wrapped hose attached to her dryer.

According to the report, Adams was washing clothes; her washing machine had an electrical defect, which caused electricity to run beyond the machine’s capacity and onto the hose, which is attached to the dryer.

She was found unconscious and taken to the West Demerara Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
