Baby Girl Dies Following Collision

We regret to confirm that a 6-month-old baby girl, Sophia Kelemen, has passed away following a collision that occurred on the ground floor of a multi-storey car park in Tenby on January 2. Sophia, who was from the Leigh area of Manchester, was taken to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries on January 3.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Sophia’s family during this incredibly difficult time. They are currently receiving support from specially trained officers dedicated to assisting them.

A 33-year-old man, Flaviu Naghi from Wigan, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, as well as driving without a license and without insurance. He was charged and remanded to appear before Swansea Magistrates’ Court on January 4, where he was further remanded to appear at Swansea Crown Court on February 7. Additionally, he was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and drug driving, and has since been released on bail for these offences.

This is a tragic incident, and the investigation is ongoing. We kindly ask the public and media not to speculate on the circumstances surrounding this case.
