The Lake Illawarra Police District is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating Mason Simpson, a nine-year-old boy missing from the Lake Illawarra region.

Mason Simpson was last seen in Corkwood Street, Albion Park Rail on Thursday, February 29, 2024, and is believed to be in the company of his father, Leon. It is suspected that they may be in the Goulburn area and could be traveling in a black Ford SUV with NSW registration CA-51-CB.

Concerns for Mason’s welfare have escalated, especially considering his young age. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 140cm – 145cm tall, with a medium build, shoulder-length brown hair, and brown eyes.

The Lake Illawarra Police District was notified of Mason’s absence from school on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, prompting immediate inquiries into his whereabouts.

The police and Mason’s family are deeply concerned about his safety and urge anyone who may have seen Mason, the vehicle, or has any information about his location to come forward.

Anyone with information regarding Mason Simpson’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Lake Illawarra Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
