Police issue wanted bulletin for suspect in abduction-robbery of Aurora employee

Police have issued a wanted bulletin for 29-year-old Okeemo Arak Brummell of Bel Air Springs, Georgetown, in connection with the abduction of Kevin Fiedtkou.

The incident occurred on October 10, at approximately 12:30 hrs, when Fiedtkou, a 31-year-old Operations Supervisor at Aurora Gold Mining Inc., was reportedly held against his will by three unidentified men at the Giftland Mall.

The suspects forcibly took Fiedtkou to his residence in Providence, East Bank Demerara (EBD), where he was coerced into handing over $9.5 million.

According to police reports, Fiedtkou was unharmed during the ordeal, and the suspects made their escape following the exchange of money.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Okeemo Arak Brummell’s whereabouts to come forward. Brummell is now wanted in connection with the ongoing investigation.

The police have assured the public that efforts are being made to apprehend all individuals involved in the crime.
