On Saturday, a significant discovery was made by the Police in the Paiana Creek, located within the Port Kaituma River in Region One (Barima-Waini). A grey semi-submersible vessel, concealed under troolie leaves, was uncovered by law enforcement officials during their operation in the area.

Alongside the vessel, authorities stumbled upon a hidden makeshift camp nearby, strategically shielded from public view. Following a thorough search of the vessel, law enforcement officers uncovered approximately 15 sandbags and about six cases of water.

The discovery has prompted ongoing investigations into the purpose and activities associated with the vessel and the hidden camp. Law enforcement agencies remain vigilant as they delve deeper into this intriguing and potentially significant development.
