Around the same time, Simpson hinted at her musical comeback with a cryptic Instagram post, stating, “This comeback is personal. It’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve.”

Jessica and Eric met through a mutual friend in 2010 and became engaged six months later. They welcomed their first two children, Maxwell and Ace, before exchanging vows in a ceremony attended by over 250 guests in Montecito, California.
