Former Chairman of the Board of Industrial Training, Clinton Williams dies

Clinton Williams, the former chairman of the Board of Industrial Training and former President of the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association has passed.

Please see below a message from the Board of Industrial Training on his passing:

The Chairman, Directors, CEO, and staff of the Board of Industrial Training (BIT) extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, colleagues, and friends of Mr. Clinton Williams, our immediate past Chairman. Mr. Williams faithfully served as Vice Chairman and later as Chairman from 2012 to 2020. His unwavering dedication to advancing skills development in Guyana has left a lasting legacy within BIT and beyond.

In moments of sorrow, comfort can be found in the words of Scripture: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18).

We pray for God’s peace and strength to be with all who mourn this profound loss. Mr. Williams’ legacy will continue to guide us as we strive to uphold the vision he so deeply cared for.
