Two men were on Sunday intercepted with 15 kilograms of marijuana during a police operation along the West Bank of Demerara (WBD).
Based on reports received, police acting on information received, stopped a Toyota Axio motor car bearing registration number HD 3315 that was at the time being driven by Seon Haywood, 34, of Crane Housing Scheme, WCD. Selwyn Lovell,24, of Bagotville, WBD was the other occupant of the car.

However, the vehicle was escorted to the La Grange Police Station where it was searched during which four black garbage bags with cannabis were found in the trunk. The cannabis when weighed amounted to 15,050 grams.
They were taken into custody pending charges.
