An Albouystown, Georgetown resident was on Monday granted $100,000 bail after he denied having 44 grams of cannabis in his possession.
Magistrate Clive Nurse read the charge to Quinn Neblett at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court 3.
It is alleged that on May 28, 2024, at Barrack and Fort Streets, Kingston, Georgetown, Neblett had in his possession 44 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
Neblett, a resident of Sussex Street, Albouystown, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
He was represented by attorney Bernard DaSilva.
Bail was granted on the condition that he report to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Brickdam every other Monday.
The matter was adjourned to July 3 for statements.
