Less than two months after Mr. A. Mohamed pledged to assist in the reconstruction of a home for two siblings and their families following a devastating fire at Container City, a two-bedroom dwelling was officially presented to them earlier today.
Thirty-six-year-old Rawle Williams and his brother, Michael Smith, a policeman, were among those whose residences were ravaged in February, resulting in substantial losses and displacement.
Within one month of the inferno, the siblings engaged with the businessman, and thanks to his involvement, construction on the house commenced on April 15.
Completed in a mere three weeks, the structure now stands as a new abode for Williams and his 14-year-old son, along with Smith and his family of three.
On Thursday, the siblings found themselves lost for words to adequately express gratitude towards the businessman for his benevolence, acknowledging the blessing bestowed upon his family with the provision of a new house by the Mohameds.
