Search Continues for Missing SistersEliza and Henrietta Huszti Near River Dee

The search for two 32-year-old sisters Eliza and Henrietta Huszti missing in Aberdeen is now focusing on river banks, say police.

Eliza and Henrietta Huszti, originally from Hungary, were last seen in Market Street at Victoria Bridge at about 02:12 last Tuesday.

The two sisters – from a set of triplets – live in Aberdeen city centre, after moving to Scotland about 10 years ago.

Last Known Movements

Eliza and Henrietta were last seen on CCTV after crossing Aberdeen’s Victoria Bridge and then turning right onto a footpath next to the River Dee, heading in the direction of the Aberdeen Boat Club. Police are examining CCTV footage from the area and conducting door-to-door inquiries, as well as speaking with local businesses.

Family’s Concern

The family of Eliza and Henrietta is understandably very worried. Local Chief Inspector Darren Bruce has stated that the police are working tirelessly to find them and are seriously concerned, with significant resources dedicated to the inquiry. The police are also liaising with authorities in Hungary, where the missing women are from, to support their relatives. The family has urged people not to spread any fake news and has thanked the public for their support.
