Police Appeal for Public Assistance in Search for Missing Pakenham Woman

Police are urgently seeking public assistance in their ongoing search for Peta, a 28-year-old woman from Pakenham who has been reported missing.
Peta was last seen on Eastbourne Crescent at approximately 11 PM on Wednesday, July 17th. It is believed that she made her way to Lysterfield in the early hours of Thursday, July 18th. Her vehicle and mobile phone were located in Lysterfield yesterday afternoon, prompting an intensive search effort.
Currently, the search operation involves the Mounted Branch, the Dog Squad, uniform officers, marine units, Search and Rescue teams, and the Air Wing. These units are thoroughly combing the surrounding areas of Lysterfield Lake in an effort to locate Peta.
Concerns for Peta’s welfare are growing due to her health conditions and the length of time she has been missing. In hopes of generating leads, investigators have released an image of Peta and are urging anyone who may recognize her to come forward with information on her whereabouts.
Peta is described as being of medium build with long dark brown hair.
