In a remarkable demonstration of prowess and unity, the 31 Special Forces Squadron triumphed once again, clinching their fourth consecutive win in the Force Quarterly Fitness Competition for 2024.

The fiercely contested event, spanning two intense days and featuring sixteen competing teams, culminated in the 31 Special Forces Squadron emerging victorious. The 3 Infantry Battalion A Team claimed the second position, with the Guyana National Reserve Team securing third place honors.

Throughout the competition, participants underwent rigorous tests in a multitude of disciplines, including field craft, operational readiness, navigation, weaponry skills, and physical fitness. The event served as a testament to the exceptional competence and camaraderie prevalent within the ranks of the participating units.

In the women’s category, the Guyana National Reserve Team showcased their exceptional abilities, securing the top position. They were closely followed by the Coast Guard Team and Base Camp Ayanganna, demonstrating the impressive talent and dedication among female personnel.
